Everybody has his favourite tyre and it is probably true that none of the big name brands make total rubbish.
I happen to have had great service from Yokohama Geolandar AT/S tyres on our Gen 3 DiD. The tyres were quiet, easy to balance, did not run out of balance with wear, had good grip on dry or wet tar and did not stand back for other all terrain tyres in the rough.
To top it all, the tyres lasted for just more than 105000 km and were quite cost effective compared to the alternatives. It would come as no surprise that our Paj is now sporting another set of the same tyres, ready for the next 100000+ km
