LOL, always a chicken somewhere in the foreground.....or forecourt :-)

They do look almost the same, just been a silent forum member and thought I should start adding some content instead of just reading and using info :D

Made a template for the additional rubber mudflaps for the rear, was pretty easy too. Got a good few bolts to secure the mudflap to the existing mud guard, however may lose a few of these over time as they may get ripped off, but easy to replace with the template finalised.

now just to measure securing holes and get them mounted.

You live a stone throw from me and we have never had quick get together to compare notes on our Pajero's!!! :? :o

You and I seem to share a lot in how we rig up our overland steeds and also in the model. How is it that I have missed your posts in the past!!!

Thanks for the link on the LED globes - Excelent stuff!!

Here is a pic of my Snoopy with the rubber extensions that you are doing.

Where was that pic taken where you unpack the boot of the PAJERO with the mountains in the background? Looks magic and a place that I would like to visit as well.

Please share if you don't mind, or PM if you don't want it on the www.

CATS,

That Pic was in Lesotho, just sommer in the middle of nowhere between Katse dam and Sani off the road to a good view spot, we had alot of rain that evening so we had to dry out our gear, so decided that was a good spot to stop, chill an get it all dried out... Lots of these in Lesotho between Katse and Sani, safety can be an issue in some sections though, but a very nice drive. We prefer bush camping so always try find a spot off the road rather than a camp site.

I have been a "silent" member for way too long and thought time I start adding some stuff as well instead of just being a user on the forum, so been in the background.... reading, learning and now sharing :-).

Your Paj looks awesome!!! one day when mine is grown up I will get an ARB, rear bumper and rock sliders, doing all the small stuff first I guess....

Where did you get the fire extinguisher bracket, mine is a projectile in the car at the moment, please could you let me know.

We should definately make a plan to meet some of the local guys in our little village :-), share some ideas and stories, always lekker!

Hi Skillie,

Unfortunately they are still in my boot, had a choice to go hunting or fit my disks, and hunting won..... Will get these on by next week and will give feedback on them thereafter.

David

The bracket was part of the fire extinguisher when I bought it. I drilled two small holes through the carpet and into the floorwell after checking that there is no wires or diesel lines anywhere on the otherside and just pop riveted the bracket on there. Worked a charm. Who says you can only pop rivet on a Defender

PS Come to think of it, I probably need to have all my Fire Extinguisher checked and refilled again. I would be highly upset if I one day need an extinguisher and they fail due to non maintenance!
