Same problem here. Noise started emanating from the steering and then my SRS light lit up. Brought it in today to the dealer and they confirmed it was the clock spring.

Cost to supply and install: R2347-30. No stock in SA at the moment, surprise surprise.

I got one from dubai for Rs 11000 and no noise now
