You could of course take them and the running boards off and replace them with black rock sliders. Then paint the rear bumper black. Perhaps a bit more work than you are looking for?

I envy you guys of those aftermarket bumpers. How heavy are they relative to the original bumper?
Hi Arnijr!

Besides the cost to make up the rock sliders, my thinking is perhaps to wait until the running boards get damaged then go through that excercise. Because of the increase height (Old man Emu system and Coilrite Air Helpers), I am assuming it will take a while to get damaged. Was thinking of re-inforcing the running board underneath similar to a rock slider design?

I woud guess that the weight of the bumper is at least twice that of the original

I am considering to match it to the original silver colour as the burgundy is dark

IMO, Silver looks better on dark vehicles and black looks better on light vehicles.

Guess it's largely a matter of choice, but I took a good look at a Burgundy Paj today with all that silver bling on it. Looks gawdy, i.m.h.o.

But, tatstes differ!

(Although Black is still Better with a capital "B"!)

Hi 4ePikanini

Fitted the spots. What you think now? Black or Silver OR

a Metallic Grey

(Cause me think that Black will kill the "burgundy" whereas the Metallic Grey will "pick up" the burgundy without the brightness

Let me know!!!!

Pradog has an RV Aluminium Bull Bar fitted, and as attractive as it looks, it's a menace when the sun catches it and reflects into your eyes. I found fitting a lining of silver-gray vinyl over the top part of the BB removes 90% of the annoying reflection.
