There was a topic a while ago for a product to use on brake caliper slide pins?? I remember someone said not to use it as it is not designed for moving parts as it is not a grease or lubricant, perhaps this is what you remember.

Copperslip is anti sieze product that can be used in extreme heat conditions such as exhaust manifold nuts and between the brake pad backing and piston to prevent brake pad squeal. There is nothing wrong with using it as intended, as an anti-sieze product between two NON-moving parts.

I have been using copper grease on exhaust manifold nuts and bolts for as long as I can remember, and have never had any problem with that.
(You will find few hotter parts in the engine).
On the contrary, I have never had a bolt or nut which had copper grease applied to it stick. They all come loose very easily.

Copper compound pastes are made specially for very high temperatures. Like exhaust manifold bolts. In the merchant navy we are very careful about this stuff when torquing nuts as one can easily overstretch a stud due to lack of friction in the threads. A good quality water proof grease works wonders on a vehicle at half the price.

Getting back to the subject of jacks I have a foot long piece of scaffold plank in the Paj to rest the jack on. You can your cut your bread on it as well!!!!

I love the breadboard idea! The camping basket has this thin plastic thing that’s awful to use. Could just not justify replacing it. SWMBO will be so impressed!
