Hi there. I can also confirm no build-up on cat after 150 000 when I had it cut out. Once removed, I did notice a slightly different "tone" to the exhaust outlet. Nothing major. I also chipped my 3.2 DiD and got it up to 138 kw and 500 nm torque. Fuel consumption generally was unchanged except for when towing. Did not need to burry the pedal up hills and it did not automatically change to 4th nearly as frequently. The improved torque was very noticeable when climbing very high sand dunes as I out climbed all petrol engines.
I cannot recall the name of the chip, but it was done in Stikland Cape Town, and cost under R2000 about 2 years ago.
