Shop around for tyres and get the one that is somewhere between HT and AT.

You will gain more in economy by over inflating slightly than what you would in tread pattern difference.

Leave the winch and suspension on the car until you sell it one day, then take it off as you never get extra for accessories when selling.

Normal tires make the Pajero feel a lot more refined. I have 2 sets of rims... One with HT (currently actually Michelin AT, which are very quiet) and the other has MT tires for overlanding.

The MT tires give me a lot more confidence in remote areas.

But I recently went to Mabua and Kgalagadi with the Michelin AT and they were fine... But I was a bit more worried when deflating a lot.

Something like the Michelin or Goodyear ATSA might be fine for all round use?

Took the plunge and fitted 4 new Hankook Dynapro ATM's. BF's were finished.

I am astounded how quiet my car has become. :D :P :D
