Wow, so there is such a thing as good luck in this world. I'm really glad you received your share with this issue. Just another peek into the robust nature of those 3.2DiD motors.

Ha ha most definitely. Radiator hole opening in Vryburg, not on the highway. Nice people from Mahindra with radiator repair shop across the road

Nice one Riku! Also check the top pipe attachment on the radiator. Mine was plastic and started cracking, causing a intermittent leak. Silverton Roodepoort rebuilt it with metal and a good price

Riku,
If my eyes are correct, then I think the rubber seal between the radiator and body is missing on your Pajero. It is quite an important item as it prevents warm air from recirculating at slow speed under fan-cooling conditions. As easy as buying a strip of foam-rubber with glue on the one side.

Well spotted Roelf!
Although, I think more correctly, it would read "the rubber seal between the AC condenser and the radiator.".
There should be a dense foam rubber seal that fits around all four edges between the AC condenser and radiator. It seems to just deteriorate to the point of disappearing.
Riku, it seems you are not far away from me. if you are passing by Northriding I will happily show you how I made a replacement seal with some rubber from Pro Auto Rubber and a bit of contact adhesive. PM me if you want to make a plan.
NNB never put any glue on the plastic header tank of the OEM radiators, it can lead to tank failure.
