You are right with the pressure of the tyres which are vehicle specific, however you need to also consider that certain tyres have very different characteristics than those originally fitted to your car.
What you should also consider is that 70% of the 45PSI max pressure is about 31PSI.
I run mine on about 32PSI for everyday road use. That is about 72% of the maximum tyre rating, which is quite comfy for me.
32PSI = 2.2 BAR.
The pressure was originally identified by doing a chalk-test on the warmed-up tyre.
