What model / year is your Pajero? 1995 gen2 2.8 SWB Japan import auto

How much mileage had your Pajero done? 198 000 but the clock is dead, so im thinking it has a whole lot more. (still searching for a speedo sensor)

Is it the original motor? I believe so

Any major work? Reconditioned the fuel pump and injectors, still drinks a lot, had a diesel leak on the pump. changed some poly bushes on the rear suspension. she still drinking a bit. changed the gaskets on the manifold. did a general service (all fluids and filters minus gearbox oil)

Things to be done: Got flashing green lights, noisy when engage 4wd, mech says the boot, bushes are torn and need a new "cardan" (dont know if thats the name in english). need to do the timming chain job (according to him its a chain not belt driven engine)
saving up to take her to the stealers in nelspruit or drive the 600km and go to Mitspro.

1996 Gen.2 3500 V6 282000 Km on clock.
Original Motor, Previous owner replaced clutch, fitted Iron man suspension. No knowledge of other repairs. I replaced front shocks with Gabriels, new valve lifters, cam belt & all pulleys, Chip & tune done by Dastek in Pretoria

Any major work? replaced one wheel bearing, timing chain and injector pump. ( injector pump recently replaced)
Does not use any oil from service to service.

Mileage : 373 000
Work Done : Apart from regular maintenance - NIL until last months of her/his life - new clutch and then head cracked
Sold: R 15 0000 to someone who will do a few more kilometres with a new engine - miss her terribly !!

Any major work ? Diesel pump and injectors overhauled on 164 000km. As far as I know nothing else.

Any major work ? Aircon compressor replaced under warranty 97000km. Diesel pump and injectors overhauled on 163 000km. Awsome vehicle with really efficient cost of ownership.
