Snap! Also just booked my Gen4 in for 150,000 service on Thursday :)

No major hassles, at 99,968 km had the "Suction Control Valve" from the common rail supply pump replaced (haven't a clue what it is or what it does :D ) - under warranty but would have cost R2,800 if not - service advisor was quite impressed that I squeezed into warranty by 32km

Cheers
Tom

I'm not happy with that and am busy doing my maths regarding getting a new car with a maintenance plan......

Don't feel bad - mine was less BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE SPARES

As a matter of interest, what were your labour units/charge and how much for the air filter (that's what they didn't have)?

It's a week now and still no phone call to say "air filters in stock".....

Cheers
Tom

Model: 2001 3.2 Did Manual SWB.
Mileage: 211,000km
Work done: Nothing that I know of prior to buying the vehicle at 183,000km (it had never really been off-road). Original front shock broke at 190,000km - fitted high lift suspension kit. Brake accululator replaced around same time free of charge by Mitsubishi (factory recall). On 2 isolated occasions during the past 3 years, could not engage gears (seems like problem with brake fluid line to gearbox), but this came right by itself within a short time and hasn't re-occured during the past year. Original motor still going strong, so no worries thus far. Oh yes - hooter not working when I bought the vehicle. Fitted separate button on lower part of dash to operate hooter.
