Roelf, so does that mean it is not "hats off" to the dash but rather "hat in"?

Hi Guys I am new on this forum and the first thing I looked for was a solution for the baseboard rattle which as everyone agrees spoils an otherwise great ride. After 17 pages of posts I finally got to the one from John G with the video on how to remove the front panels and wher he fitted His home design brackets, THANK YOU somebody has come up with a practical solution. My Pajero is on a road trip to the cape at the moment "on loan to my wife" when it gets back I'm going to make up some bracket with some aircraft aluminium which I happen to have around cant wait to give it a try.
Has anyone done a suspension upgrade OME or such, has it made a difference to the vibration when riding over corrugations.

Hi Brianrapson, I recently replaced the OEM shocks with Bilsteins B4. Definitely great improvement in the ride quality, which got much smoother/softer, but this however did not eliminate the rattles from my NS.

Thanks for the tip Joseph. my standard shocks are due for replacement and want to make sure I make the right move when I do replace them. I am definitely going to do the brackets as well. if I am successful I will post pictures and results.

Hi Brian
Just to find out from you.Do you have the rattle between the dash and the windscreen you want to get rid of or is it the shake?Reason i ask is my bracket assists with the severe shake some dashboards have over very bad roads and does not in all cases remove the rattle.
Cheers
John

I bought a 2013 3,2 DiD SWB Pajero and experience the same shaking of the dash and rattling of the cubbihole. The dealers cant sort it out. Can you help ? Willing to pay for everything !

Hi Fires,
I made up some brackets and installed them on my 2008 Pajero, it certainly does help my CD player now works on a gravel road. One thing I noticed is that the cubby is also supported by a very flimsy bracket which I will strengthen neat time I'm spend half a day with my head under the dashboard. Find my suspension is a bit hard and as I am due to replace my shock I am looking at the options here. JohnG's tips were very useful to me, it is quite fiddley to measure up the brackets and then get them in place as the space is limited. If you are planning to do this job yourself I will send you some Photos and a sick etch of the brackets.

Hi fires,
all I need to do is figure out how to attach a photo to this post from my IPad. I will send the sketch at the same time.
