Tom,
Pollen filter is the one that cleans the air in the air system going into the car (blower / aircon)
Simon... I think this needs some clarification
How can two dealerships flying the same flag have such different prices?
Midrand vs East Rand
R2006......R1456 Service / labour
R522.00....R462.56 Oil
To top it off, Globe for R122.81. I would loooooooove to know the part number as I paid R302 for my spare one a few weeks back.........

Hi Kai,
The globe was supplied by Midas (as stated on the invoice) - not sure if that makes it cheaper, but does raise the increasingly tiresome spectre of Mitsu not having fricken parts for our babies
Also, because they didn't have the air filter, they possibly charged less labour? Although for practised mechies I guess changing an air filter shouldn't cost R550 labour
Cheers
Tom

1999 3500 V6
328000km
Engine redone..... After a botched service at the stealers 2 years ago
We bought it in 2005 as a 3rd hand vehicle, new shocks and brakepads and a freeflow exhaust supplied by VanDerLinde. She sounds wonderfull under load, more of a growl!

Come get the spares in JHB.

no issues in terms of service parts so far, touch wood!
I've not reached the club yet, only on 110000km now. But I think I'm third on the Gen4 list?

What model / year is your Pajero? 1999 2.8 TDI LWB
How much mileage had your Pajero done? 188000 km
Is it the original motor? No
Any major work? Only the motor that I know of. Motor was replaced just before Purchase

Mine now exceeds 266 664km. Only had her about 6 months, but, very happy.
Its a 2002 3.2 auto. Replaced air filter with a K&N drop in filter, serviced the gear box and put in the new filter, new oil and filter, replaced front stabilizer bar bushes, and will be doing from stabilizer links. New shocks rear, and front to be done.
