The Hankook 265/70-16's I fitted on my 3.2 did swb, any thoughts on what pressures I should be running on:

Highway
Gravel
Sand

TWT recommended 2.5bar for highway.

Thanks in advance.

I think 2.5 might be a bit hard for the 16's on the highway.

Try the 4PSi rule discussed elsewhere on the forum

I also think 2.5 will be a bit high.

For highway, I'd go for around 2.2 bar.

Then for gravel you could probably drop to 1.8 or 2.0 (it depends how fast you drive, and how bad the road is). i.e. Softer = slower, bad roads. Harder = faster, good roads.

For sand, 1.5 and lower (dunes and thick sand - 0.8 bar).

As Simon mentioned though, it is a good idea to check the pressures after a long drive, to see how much the pressure increases due to increased tmeperature (i.e. the 4psi rule). For example, I was driving in the Cederberg near Wupperthal, and deflated quite a lot to around 1.6 bar (cold), and when I stopped after driving a while, the pressure was 1.8 bar.

Ps. When people talk about tire pressure, it is the cold pressure.
