CATS, it's real easy to do, just time consuming as you have to wait 30 minutes between coats. The supplier sells a DIY mag kit for R695. Comes with mag cleaner and 4 cans of Plasti Dip, which is enough for 5 wheels. I'd give it a shot if I was you. Alternatively take a few pics of your car and photoshop/edit the colour of the wheels to give you an idea. But if you are anything like me it will probably be quicker to paint the wheels

Took my shorty on a hunting trip from Cpt to Graaff Reinet got back last night what a vehicle. My consumption was ave 10.2 l/100 km towing a trailer at 125 kmh. We drove back on the scenic Route 62 what a nice road to drive. Now planning a trip to Cederberge to go do some 4x4 work can't wait. Only got my shorty 3weeks ago so watch this space.

Came back with the bash plate cracked. Going in tomorrow to have it welded.

ANG is really very good. It appeared that the exhaust bracket had broken, causing the exhaust to rattle against the bash plate. As the dealers did not have stock of the bracket, ANG mig welded it up and even painted the bracket before refitting it. All for very minimal cost to me.

De-cat 2 months ago just after acquiring my Paj.

Hannibal roof rack fitted a week ago, with 2 x slots for table and solar panel, plus spare wheel, water, fuel, spade, and hi-lift brackets. To best of my knowledge, the FR Slimline II rack can't take 2 slots, only 1 from the back (due to the across-ways direction of the FR slats).

Dual battery system fitted yesterday by Hazard Bonako. New 80AH deep cycle fitted on to a Front Runner bracket from Safari Centre. Was told that 80AH was biggest they could fit in, but I have found an extra 20mm, so will check on Monday if I have any options to go slightly bigger. It has a new type of monitor that Hazard have just launched, which is half the size of the NL one.

Took the roof rack off, Sandblast and powdercoat, new rail sliders from frontrunner. installed rooftent, had plastic spacers made so that i could install the awning and be able to unzip it, the awning was getting in the way.

Took her to Oppi Koppie this weekend, if you gonna go, might as well do it right, and before all you old fogies start bla bla fishpaste about Oppi Koppi, I brought my Girlfriends Dad (54) and his brother (46) with, and they had a blast.

It came to just over R8500. Sounds a lot I know, but I did ask for quite a few extras.

My personal choice was between Safari Centre and Hazard. Safari Centre's quote was R5589 and Hazard's R8678. However, when I compare their 2 quotes, and make a list of the identical or similar items both quoted for, there is a difference of only R500 between the two (SC at R4770 and Haz at R5278, for the same items). However SC quoted a lot less cable, which might explain the R500 difference.

There are a lot of other things on the Hazard quote, mainly to do with my solar panel, usb connectors, brad Harrison plugs, etc, and other extras I had asked for, so the price I paid is not really a fair reflection.

At the end of the day, I considered their quotes for similar items to have been close or on par, so I went with Hazard because they came highly recommended by the friend (with Gen 3 Paj) that I am going on my upcoming trip with. He has apparently had plenty electrical hassles over the years from various installments by various people. Hazard apparently ripped it all out, started afresh, and his problems disappeared.
