Hi Guys,

AWESOME fun, I think it turned out sooo well, although, I think quite a few expenses were caused as consequence,
not excluding me, Somehow I managed to avoid any (evident)damage to Bismark, only to realize later the evening that my
cellphone was still enjoying the dunes long after we left.

So, unfortunately, all the pics I could contribute are no longer available.
Good new is, I now have replaced my phone with a Nokia N8, upgrading the camera from a 5mp to a 12mp,
meaning more & better picks next time.

Ralf, Paul & John, it was great meeting you guys, a real pleasure, you guys DEFINATELY have the spirit inherent in true Pajero owners.
John, good luck with the claim, I hope you can replace with aftermarket bumpers, do your OME lift, AND your Mud terrain Tyres within you claim amount.

Paul,

I will start a new thread for the next G2G as soon as you can give me the name of the place again (I seem to have a mental block, everytime you tell me, within seconds, I cant remember what its called.)

Once again,
Thanks all of you who came, it was really good to have such a turnout there, (if you look at the Jeep & Toyota guys, who were at 5-6 vehicle groups max) I think we showed them how us Pajero Guys can pull together for real fun.

Lets keep it up.

Cheers
Ned
p.s. (Gone are the pics showing a pajero on a flat-bed)

Hey Ned

Good News! I am insured for my little crash in the dunes!
I may be ale to get my bumpers and and the rest paid for by insurance. Sometimes you gotta break a few eggs!

Not sure about BFG Muds. Would look cool but too noisy on tar. Im thinking BFG A/T 31.5 or 33 but i think 33's may affect the gearing of the auto box so not sure. Has anyone got 33 BFG tyres on a Gen 3 with auto box?

Sorry to hear about your phone!

Cheers,

JohnDG

Hi John,

In that case, get yourself Cooper STT mud terrains, you can take mine and Achille's word for it, not noisy on tar at all, in fact surprisingly quiet.

If your ever in the area, come make a turn, I'll take you for a spin so you can hear for yourself.

Best regards
Ned

Paul,

Whats the name of the place on the west coast again man.
