Ive recently sent my car in for a service and after a week my car had a really bad idle. Sent it to bosch and there were a lot of bolts and nuts loose on egr and manifold. The car still has a bad idle, but only when cold. Tonight i started it and theres a soft tapping noise from the engine. Its a gen 3 3.8L, any help would be great

For the past 4 years I drive a return trip of 400km to Henk at Pajero Services and Maintenance in Pretoria. Work done by Henk on my 1996 3.5 V6 LWB includes amongst other minor issues, a cambelt replacement, replacement of manifold butterfly seals and rubbers and routine services (the last service 2 weeks ago)and brake pads replacement.
Excellent service and advice at a very affordable price. No complain for the past four years. You can find Henk at Linevelt street 91, Wonderboom, Pretoria , 083 306 1848

Hi Friends,
After 4 years of trusting my car with MitsPro, I had two less than satisfying issues crop up repeatedly. Twice with brakes.
Anyway, today I decided to replace the front pads and skim the discs as they sounded TERRIBLE! I went to Astro Brake and Clutch in Boksburg, behind the big BMW dealership. They fitted ATE pads, skimmed etc.
R1,100.00 for the pads and fitting, R350 for skimming.
Best price I could find after phoning around, they were quick (I got there as they opened) friendly and knowledgeable.

Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forum and will be asking some questions? I have spent a few hours trying to source info regarding my requirements. Not finding the necessary, please be kind enough to point me in the right direction?
I have recently purchased a 2005 Gen 3, 3.2L DID (225 000 kms) and need a recommendation for trustworthy mechanics in KZN? A few things need looking at?
Thanks a mil.

There is a guy in Pietermaritzburg called Haydn. Do a search here or on the 4x4community forum, he comes very highly recommended.
