Please advise where and when...I've just spent two weeks at the coast and three days at the Waterberg with my in-laws,who by the way are 86 and 84 in the "bus" and they loved it (the bus). ;)

Hi

I missed the previous GTG's. If you could organise it any weekend after the 14th November I'm most probably in.

I'm even free to organise it myself after that date if need be. Unfortunately I'll only be available to start the arrangements from the 14th of November. So if your guys are willing to wait we can start organizing an event in the second part of November maybe for very early 2011 to celebrate the new year.

Regards,

Andre

This is an owners club, so if you guys want to organize a get together, GO FOR IT!!. I will assist where possible from my experience from organizing the first event.

From my experience from the first one:
-Pick a date that suits you as organizer(I assume you are taking the lead on this one, Swartskaap 8-) )
-Pick venue and confirm availability for your chosen date and costs
-Have some sort of payment method , People that pay are more committed to pitch on the day, even if the weather turns out dicey (PM Simon to arrange use of club account)

And then just keep the interest going and fire the lot up!!! I was also thinking that it is high time to have a next meet, so your suggestion sounds great. This is however the early stages of the silly season, so I would say make it soon otherwise you will clash with year end functions etc all over. Also keep school holidays in mind as a lot of people will probably be away during those periods.

Good luck and enjoy!! I will also be interested to join if the date is possible.

Sheesh!

I post one post and suddenly all interest die away!!Is it something I ate?

Common guys, lets get this event off the ground!! Any fixed date suggestions? So far we have Simon for 18-25December and Skillie for after the 14 November. Any other ideas out there or a fixed date suggestion. I really think that we can do two events before year end. Maybe one just an out drive to Rietvlei nature reserve, or something like that with zero 4x4 action, and maybe another event to a trail for some axcle twisting like Rhino park. Remember that we are also welcome to return to the Tau trail as per first event where we got excelent hospitality.

Hi Guys

Sorry I've not replied yet. I was thinking of doing it a bit on the busy side. I will love to organize this, but it would have to be in Oct somewhere. reasons being.
1. November, December is truly silly season in our industry.
2. I might be without a Pajero after Oct.

Big might, but still a might.
