When I swtichd on my headlights of my Gen 3 LWB 3x2 DiD, Inoticed that it is still dark. I then realised that my low beams aren't working. Switched on my high beams and it works. Switch off my high beams, low beam still not working. Switch on front spot, front spots is working but low beam still dead. This is both my low beams. I've checked both fuses, but all fine.
Any idea where I can start to look please?

Either the relay is dead or both bulbs blew at the same time

The Gen 3 uses a so-called Smart Wiring System, where many functions (including headlamps) are controlled by ECUs. If the low beam headlamps don't work, the possible causes could be:

1) Headlamp switch on steering collumn stalk faulty
2) Faulty wiring harness or connecter (including fuses)
3) Faulty ECU

The ligthing system is controlled by the so-called Front-ECU, which is located in what looks like a fuse box in the left front of the engine compartment. The headlamp relays are incorporated in the Front-ECU.

Start with the simple things first. Bulbs?

Thanks all. I've replaced both bulbs about 3 months ago. I still have one old one. Will try it tonight. Else it is probably off to the auto electrician.

Any other way that I can test which might e the faulty part?
