Hi

I would like to replace the rear slide windows in the Gen2 LWB with flip up aluminum doors for easy access. How would I remove the original windows without using a hammer?
Would the roof above the windows be strong enough for the hinges or would I need to add extra support in?

Thanx
Vernon

The workshop manuals (the section on body) describe how to remove the rear windows. I would build a frame to be installed in the same way as the window frame, and attach the hinges to that.

Hi Nampajero,
I found an easy windscreen replacement at National Auto Glass.
The price was also very good . If I remember correctly it was about R900,00 installation included.
I have GEN 2 as well.
