Just swopped my 2006 LWB for a 2010 140kw (Gen 4??) LWB
I had a Frontrunner low profile roofrack and am looking for something similar but removable.
Reason being in between field trips the vehicle does long road trips and I want to save some money on fuel.
Is the African Outback unit really removable?

Yes, that particular roof rack is removable. A friend of mine also wanted one for his Revo to be installed and find online alongside a wide variety of Mitsubishi Accessories. As long as you got the tools you need, you can definitely remove the roof rack.
