Paj at Helderberg

For those of you who know the boomslang at Helderberg, you'll know it is quite tricky, and downright impossible in the wet.

But have a look at this fellow paj owner, towing a trailer on the Two Oceans trail as a test of their new trailer. And managed to get up Boomslang first time.

Hê hê...

The most tricky part is the turn in photo 2! I guess they disconnected the trailer for that.

That Gen2 has a Did engine fitted by CRD and 35" tyres. The Gen2 ratios makes for a screaming engine on the highway, but great for trails.

That is the MAXE bullbar, that was the "original" fitted by Mitsu as an optional extra. They still sell them for about R8k new.

I just sold mine (10 years old, 180 000 km done) for around R2k.

I suggest you keep your eye on gumtree. And do not be in a hurry, they do not appear that frequently!

Unfortunately you won't find this on the scrapyards - for obvious reasons.
