Looks good, but that guy holding them onto the vehicle is gonna get mighty tired to run next to the vehicle

Black is easy to patch up when scratched, but silver will blend in nicer with the vehicle colour.

What is the purpose of mounting the side steps:
Protection from rocks?
Protection from sandblast on dirt roads?
Recovery point?
Hi- Lift or other jacking Point?
Step to stand on to wash the roof or let SWAMBO/kids get in on their own?
Because it looks good?
All of the above?

Side Steps does different things in different forms and thus even the plastic/alluminium jobbies that you find as Original Equipment from Manufacturer (OEM) sometimes fullfill a purpose. Make sure what your intention is with the steps and then get the steps that fullfil that function. If this is kept in mind you should be A for Away!

Cats, its not designed to fill any purpose than to make to IO look better. I would imagine that it will protect the body from rocks as its neatly tucked underneath the body and you cant even step on it. Its like the ones the ford bantam has (no purpose, for the eye only) but its a good idea you gave about the lift points ill definitly look into that. Maybe i can add some???? Thnx
