IMHO, this one is going to give the Fortuner / Pajero Sport something to think about.
According to the launch article, it has a lot of "ISUZU DNA".

Good looks. None of these bling big chrome chinese stuff like the latest appliance. Yuck!

I just hope that it comes out with normal size rims (17" or smaller)... not the 20" rims they talk about in the article!

That is a pity that as power increases, speed increases, so brakes get bigger, so rims bet bigger... But they don't seem to increase the overall wheel diameter, so tires get smaller :(

  1. It's American/Asian, where they are not so obsessed with large brakes.
  2. Most brakes fit inside an 18" rim, and there are decent off-road tyres available in 18"

There may be decent tires in 18", but they don't have a nice high sidewall for deflating.

265-65-18 gives a lot of (read 'enough') surface area when deflated. :D

I really like the looks of the Chev and if it has low range and a good price bracket it will definately be something to consider between Tuna and Pajero Sport.

I just wonder how I will fit a steel bumper replacement and winch on that nose?
