Hi Everyone
Is this part of my dual-battery system?
The second battery is located in the third row seat storage space, but I want to move it to the engine bay.

Dont know! but the cables dont look thick enough for battery charging. Do the colours (red, green black) go to your dual battery? is it an inverter perhaps? Where does the black wire with blue terminal go?

I haven't followed all the cables yet. I think the blue and yellow ones go to the battery. This bothers me as they are so thin.

Pierre,
That looks like heat sink that aluminum thingy. If it is a charger of some kind I would suggest thicker wires. Those wires looks like normal Captire to me and would eventually fail cuasing serious problems for you.
Could you see what is inside the vehicle behind the cubby hole? Heat sink would suggest it something that generates power and needs to cool down.

Not sure what that is but is definately not standard on the Pajero and definately linked to some aftermarket fitting. Curiouser and curiouser

Good idea to look from behind the cubby hole.
I thought it was the solenoid controlling the charging of the second battery. Now you guys have made me more curious. I'll just have to strip the whole thing this weekend. Dammit, another weekend spent on my pajero
