The tractors clutch failed.

I had to tow it back to the workshop. Shalene took a video as I pulled it up the last slope.

Tractor's engine is running to aid steering and brakes but lacks all drive.

It looks like I'm towing from the towbar but it is a pin type hitch and I used the pin which is stronger and thicker in diameter than the recovery points. It also eliminated the angle which would have pulled me sideways as the load was heavy - check the gravel on the trailer.

My main concern was the thin shackles failing. I used 2 tow ropes. One looped around the tow pin and the other around the tractor and then the 4 end points met in the middle with shackles - hence my overall trousers and jacket tied to them.

This time the tractor ran out of diesel. Had no diesel available so had to get it out of the fields to avoid theft at night.

Don't let the size fool you. That Tractor is bloody heavy!

Towing at a nice pace, nogal. Even the dogs got exited!

the tyres never spun and the weight was pulled horizontally. i suspect some tow heavier caravans without issues. besides, the bfg tyrrs started chipping early. i jave dome nearly 3k on the hankooks and no sihns of chipping
