Hello everyone! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to join your (lekker) forum. I heard about it through friends based in Cape Town and I plan to drive down to visit them when I have built a vehicle capable of it, but for now here are a few general details.

20th March 1982

3. Town & Country Of Residence:
Morpeth, Northumberland, UK

4. Home Language:
English (I'm learning Afrikaans!)

5. Occupation/Business:
ICT Network Manager, on reflection, I'd rather have done something else.

6. Family Status:
I'm married with an infant son. (Rachael and Elliot)

7. Membership Of Other 4X4 Clubs & Forums:
Difflock, POCUK

8. Current 4x4:
Gen 2 SWB 2.5 Pajero

9. Current Modifications:
Trimmed bumps, 31" Cooper STT, slight lift, Snorkel (and the usuals, cb, spots etc)

10. Modifications On The Wish List:
Increase engine boost, new set of shocks / springs

11. Vehicle(s) On The Wish List:
Landcruiser 70 series trayback (can't get them in the UK)

3.0 Isuzu Trooper Duty (SWB), Heavily Modified Suzuki Jimny Challenge Spec

In and around Northumberland

Kielder Water Reservoir Northumberland

I have many hobbies, art, photography and scale radio control model 4x4s.

CoPilot Bluetooth GPS tethered to PDA running MioMap, also tethered to netbook running Memory Map

I'd like to think it's pretty good.

Oh My Word.. a true blooded Geordie. While half my family is from wHitby the rest are from Scarborough and Newcastle On Tyne...

lol well technically speaking I'm a northumbrian but my wife is full blood geordie lol :lol:

I suppose I should start with Alreet marra? Hows it gannan like! Wey this forum is proper mint! Ah divint knaa aboot ye but ah love them pajeros how... :lol:

We're just up at Morpeth but I know (and love) "the toon" like no other, Whitby is a lovely place but it takes us a good couple of hours to drive down so we usually keep that for a nice summers day.
