Hi all

Just want to share an experience from today.

My 2011 Sport needed a new windscreen.
So, after a while the dealer finally got one.

Contacted Glasfit to fit it, they call to tell me there is a R2800 excess (25%)

Mitsu agent says screen cost is R8700!!!
Nothing special, no wires or sensors or anything...

After discovering that we can get one from shaterprufe for R4000 odd. Told Mitsu to stick it.

Mitsu phones me back later-
"there was a mistake"
"correct price is R2700"
mixup with superceded numbers - blah blah blah

So, be warned.
Throw tantrums and moan till the truth comes out!!!!

DO NOT just bend over.

Next time try National Autoglass, They might have one for your car. I paid R900,00 for my Blister's one from them fitment included at my house.

I also paid R750,00 rand for my daughters little Golf just a few weeks back also fitted at my house inclusive.
I did not claim through insurance as I do not want to pay that Excess.

Thanks, will keep that in mind for next time.

Point was more about how we should not just accept a price because its on some computer system.
