My little Blue Monster 1999 3.5 Gen 2.5 swb has lost his Aerial , can i install a normal wippy black one , or do i have to replace it with the same electronic one, and do i have to get it from the stealers, Im in the Midrand Centurion area .

I replaced my mast with a whip antenna. The old Isuzu and Hilux ones have similar base profiles so use those.

But it's a hellova job to swap them out... took me two hours, with lots of expletives and skinned knuckles.
