Hi

Has anyone visited Khubu Island in Botswana before and what was your experience. Is it worth the visit and for how long, only one day or maybe more? Seem sthere is two routes into Khubu: one from Francistown and other from Nata. Also details I get from Khubu officials about how to get there seems that one can get lost easily on the pans ....

We spend last year one day at Kubu drving through Francistown and Khama Rhino to Kub and via Gweto and Nata back

Advise:
next time i will spend 2 nights at kubu
Explore Kubu with a local - there are a deep hsitory behind the island
take enough camara memory cards with
Use a GPS with T4A - it does have all the tracks on it
back it up with the t4A map

be selfsuffient - the only convenience is long drops
