Hi All
My name is Simon and I am the proud long time owner of a 1996 3.5lt LWB Pajero named Mosi (after the Zambian beer that I enjoyed so much on various trips around Southern Africa). I bought Mosi in 1999 when he had 100,000km on the clock and have had no major problems since then. Mosi now has 310,000km and I have decided to give him a new lease on life. At the moment he is having rust removed and a new spray paint.
About 4 years ago I replaced the suspension with OME and two months ago replaced all 4 shock absorbers.
What I would like some advice on is what do I need to replace under the vehicle in terms of rubber goodies, bearings, bushes etc etc.
I am reasonably mechanically minded and can undertake basic repairs so I would also appreciate any advice on what I can tackle myself & what is best left to the experts.
Any assistance from you esteemed experts would be most appreciated as I would love to restore Mosi to his former glory & have fun with him for the next 20 or so years
