I drive a 2000 blister fender 3.0 GLS. The switch that controls the aircon/heater settings is playing up in that aircon. setting is fine but when I turn it to heat it does not go all the way and feels as though it wants to stay at halfway to cold position. This means that on a cold frosty morning there is no heater to warm the interior or demist the windows without putting the aircon. on and getting extra cold.Has anyone else experienced this and if so was it relatively easy to fix or should I leave it to the pros. who will in all likelihood charge a handsome sum. Any advise will be welcome. I am going to tackle the job anyway before giving it over to the pros.(if necessary) but anything that I should know before I begin will be useful.
