Good evening fellow pj owners,

I recently became the owner of a 1997 Pajero 3500 v6. Problem is it did not come with the remote units for the central locking/alarm/immobiliser. The security system is at this stage inactive and I contacted Mitsubishi to obtain replacement remotes. According to them the vehicles were at that stage built by SAMCOR and nowadays Mercedes and they therefore cannot assist me.

What now? I would appreciate any guidance you can give me.

My Pajero 1997 LWB 3.5 DOHC se vorige eienaar het probleme ondervind met alarm/immobilizer/central locking , en het toe by die Mazda garage (SAMCOR) n nuwe unit wat presies inplug op die Pajero se harnas ,asook 2 remotes by gekry, ek het die Paj al 4 jaar en nie n dag se probleme nie...nog original remote batterye ook in ...sterkte

Go to any reputable alrm system installer and install a Sanji or Auto watc unit. It will cost you probably R2500 with remotes and all.
I have a Autowatch unit in mine for two years now and no problems .YET

Die eenheid wat in my Pajero is (gekoop by Mazda Garage as replacement vir original eenheid) is die Sanji eenheid.

Soos Paw_by_Paw noem hierbo ...as jy kan kry die Autowatch een...

Ek het net een probleem met die Sanji wat ek het ..en dis die remotes se knoppies staan n bietjie uit ...dus druk hulle teen enige iets in jou sak en as jy naby jou Paj is gaan die alarm/panic af ...omdat die knoppie ingedruk word deur ander harde voorwerpe in jou sak en soms teen ander sleutels aan dieselfde bos as die remotes...

My remptes het ophou werk. Ek het die alarm box uitgeplug. Uitgewerk watter drade die central locking beheer en n skakelaar bedraad sodat die bestuurder al die deure kan oopmaak. Ek werk nou met die sleutel en die skakelaar

Hi Guys

I have a 2000 Gen 3 Pajero and only have one keyless entry remote which is separate to the key.

Gen 3 remote

I am looking for another one-it is the same as the mitsu colt remote, maybe someone has an old unsed one lying around at home that I can take off their hands for a (small) nominal fee??

Much appretiated, as lock-smiths in Cape Town do not stock that particular remote at all and the stealers price is just ridiculous.
