less fuel = less weight??

Hi all.

Would carrying 2/3 of fuel make the power to weight ratio better?

I'm already used to stopping at every fill station(something a V6 owner comes to terms with  ),so it's been suggested that instead of carrying full capacity,to cut down a bit thereby reducing unnecessary weight.

Does this make sense??

I don't think fuel consumption will be affected, only a bit more pulling power maybe.

Any thoughts?

PS,this is for intercity cruising, where fuel availability is not an issue.

the difference between carrying a full tank of fuel and a half tank of fuel is like carrying a small child instead of a small adult.

Negligible IMHO.

yup, never thought of it like that. With the V6,the needle drops fast or very fast
