Pajero Owners Club of South Africa

I was wondering if any of you guys know of a company that could armour (bulletproof) my Pajero? I have searched extensively on Google. I have found a company based in JHB that can do it, but for almost half a million! Any info would be much appreciated.

I saw the cost is absorbatant. You must also remember that it will add cosidderable weight as well. I do not know whether your suspension must be upgraded as well. Mind me asking why?

The company (armourmax) I got a quote from, uses the very latest technology, to achieve a b4 ballistics level (withstand 45 callibe), it would only add 160 kg to the car, but because its such new technology, its expensive.
I heard that to get the more "traditional" armouring done would cost about R100k, and add about 700kg to the car, new suspension might then be needed.
The reason I want it done, is that I stay on a farm and to get to the farm you need to drive on a rather dangerous road, where a lot of hijackings happen. I want my wife and daughter to be safe, when driving to town on there own.
