Gen 1 Radiator - Repair / Replace with new / secondhand??

My 1990 Gen 1 2.5's radiator appears to be leaking in a number of places. It's 22 years old after all :D. Any advise on whether it's advisable to have it re-cored, and if so, recommendations on where I can have it done. Silverton radiators? I'm based in Woodmead.

Alternatively I can try to get a new one, but I'm sure the price will be crazy. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Gareth

I had mine re-cored (NB with 3-core !) in ±2005 @ R1300. Today I suppose it will be at least R2000, but still way cheaper than a new one.

Any competent radiator shop will be able to do it.
Just have them clean and inspect the top and bottom tank for erosion.

Remember to flush the system and fill with the best coolant you can find.
