Remote lock flashing light on dashboard

my 2008 3.2 DID GLS flashing light on the dashboard is not working ever since I bought the car(second owner). Recently when I've given the car to mitsu for a dashboard dismantle asked them to check this too..after checking they say its a dummy light on the dash no connection socket is there on my model?? What crap?anyone ideas

Can you post a picture?
Could it be a "decoy" fitted by the previous owner to simulate an alarm warning light?

No it looks like oe. And like mitsu said its hard to believe its a dummy light

Maybe you have an "alarm ready" Pajero. That is why the light looks oe, but isn't wired because you don't have an alarm in your's.

But it should also work without an alarm?
