My 2001 3.5 GLS needs a new fan clutch. Mitsubishi only sell the complete fan unit and it's pricy. Does anybody know where I could find a generic or a second hand clutch?

Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

You can try Commercial Auto Parts in Johannesburg they helped me. I needed one and got it there for R456 for my 2.8tdi. You can speak to Steven there.

After a full days worth of Googleing and phone calls i have found a place in Cape Town that has the clutch. Auto fans in Okavango +27 21 982 7114. I'll be stopping off there to day to pick up a new clutch for the fan.

Auto Fans dont stock the correct size clutch so back to square 1.

I also tried Commercial Auto Parts and they only stock the 2.8 fan clutch.

My advice is rather pay the higher price and get a Mitsu original. You wwill not regret it.
