Hallo guys,

Been quite a while since I last posted here. A year or so ago I was suddenly Pajero-less, after mine was traded in unexpectedly.

Anyway, I need another one.

Basically I need 7 seats. Two sets for the two baby seats, and one seat for the 12 year old, moody, pre-teen.

So, I am looking at selling off my BMW e39 540 and buying a Gen 2 3.5 V6.

My question: What should I look out for on the V6. I know Pajero is bullet proof, although my D-ID bit me in the behind quite hard.

I heard from a Mitsubishi salesman that the clutch/ flywheel replacement is pretty expensive on the V6.

I will appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks lads.

And now we start believing salesmen .

The DiD clutch is expensive due to the fact that it is a dual-mass. The V6's clutch should be considerably less. Just phone a Mitsu spares dept and a clutch specialist and get a real price.
