I know this is like cratching old wounds open again but here is my story.
I have been reading all post about this subject , downloaded hundreds of pages of opinions and equipment. Talked to various experts(or so called experts)
The main thing I came to realise is that it does not matter what you need AMPS to charge and fill up batteries quickly and efficiently.
So I ended up at PMP (Plan MY POwer) and PBE lastly.
Listening to PMP first : the cost is exsorbetant firstly and I can not change any part on my vehicle or have parts fitted permanantly.
Seondly after having ours of discussions with Pieter at PBE and referrals from customers I came to realise to have a system that will charge quickly and efficiently this system is the one to go for. Not cheap I must add but I need power to charge three 105a/h batteries with two fridges to maintain .
Just a short descriptive explanantion but I will most defenitely report back once the system is fitted and used.

Yes, and that Pieter from PBE can talk endlessly , but he seems to know a lot about these things!

Interesting! I have a National Luna system but don't believe it works properly.
Where is PBE?

PBE is in Centurion. I do not have one of his systems, I have Ctek D250 DC DC charger as my double battery system, but I have only heard positive things about PBE and have met Pieter before. He really seems to know battery power.

David the adress is if you know Pretoria a bit- from Old johannesburg Road or R21 take the M10 towards Willem Botha Street. At Eldoglen Estate The Eastern Gate turn in.
You can check on the website http://www.pbeproducts.co.za.
Had a nice chat with them today when I dropped off my vehicle and Caravan.
Pieter-MOBILE: 083 749 0445.
But as Cats said be prepared for a longish discussion but in my opinion worth the patience.
I am submitting my price list for your review. I have not taken everything but I am sure I can survive with what I have taken for now. Their LED self made lights is a real winner.

Are you installing LED lights inside or outside the van? I stripped my outside lights on the Xplorer this morning to see how it can be modified to LED's. Was thinking of installing some of those "Strip Lights" inside the existing casings.

Will pop in to see what they have at EPB.

Thanks

Johan

That what I did on my Xplorer. Fitted strip led inside existing light casings. Works well but make sure the light output is what you require. Mine turned out slightly lower than the original. I still want to fit a second strip, but laziness is an ugly thing! :)

Cats,
I replaced all the normal 12v lights in my commander with the 24 LED strips from Lumeno.
I had two new yellow 24 LED lights fitted on the outside by Pieter and it seems 100% for what I need.I do not need to supply light to land an airoplane  They can also supply smaller lights and in White light should you require. Their price is a bit high but the quality looks good though.
