Hi has any one had a similar problem with the compass, after leaving my cell in the slot below the compass reading is out by 90 to 180 degrees it varies.Reading the owners book tried what was suggested but did not work. Any suggestions on how to rectify the problem?

I don't know what the manual says, but I suppose disconnecting the battery and starting calibration from scratch is an option.
