Hi my tyres are looking worn and i dont like that, i need four new tyres but i cannot afford the big names. So which budget tyres can you recommend? i do 70% potholed tar, 20% ondulated dirt roads and 10% gravel.
My budget is around R1500 for 31x10.5x15 its a gen 2 SWB (that is giving me a lot of mechanical problems but i just love beastie...)
I was loooking at Velocity, Maxxis Bravo 761, Kumho Roadventurer A/T, Seilun Terramax. is there anyother tyre i should consider? Preferably in Komatipoort, Malelane, Nelspruit (Mpumalanga). but if in Lenasia, Eastgate, Rossetonville i can make a plan...
Regards

What about Maxtrek SU-800? I had them fitted on happy with it, except for a bit of road noise.

Hi
I bought 2x 265/70/15 maxtrek's in Namibia for R 800.00 each. The prices since then have gone through the roof and now the Government wants to charge Tax per tire too!!!
Im still looking for Maxtreks as they have proven to be brilliant
