Hi,
Just wanted to know if anyone has 265/70R17 size tires on a Gen 4 Pajero? They are one size up from std 31" to 32".
I know that one size up on the Gen 3 was fine - (I ran 265/75R16).
Just want to be sure that the 32's won't touch anywhere.
Thanks,
Greg

I'm also quite keen to find out about this... Either this or 275/65/17... Cause it looks so nice

Will check with my business partner tomorrow. He runs a gen4 with lightly larger size. Was BFG AT's previous, but replaced them this week with Coopers ST's due to massive price difference, almost R1000 a tyre difference!

I just recently fitted 265/70/17 Cooper st maxx tyres, was worried about the clearing so i went to the extreme, went for OME Coils and nitro charger shock whick gave me an increased lift of close to 45mm, also added an arb deluxe bullbar so plenty of space all around even at the back. The tyre man said I could have gone up another size but I am happy with what I have now plus a proper 10 ply tyre with 3 ply sidewall means I can finaly go anywhere! let me know if you want any pictures? I would just have to figure out how to post them.

My biggest worry is with the front wheels, when you lock the steering in either direction, and the coil is full compressed to the bump stop. The bumper seems the closest, but I wonder about he inside of the wheel arch - - does the rear of the front wheels not touch the inside somewhere on full lock?

Karl, don't you have the spacers on? If so, wouldn't your concern be lessened?

Indeed have the spacers, so not worried about the wheel touching the arch at the top, but spacers don't help when your tyre is larger or wider and you turn the steering wheel sharply. The distance between the car and the tyre on a horizontal plans remains the same.

Just some feedback from me. My business partner did not come to work this past week in his Pajero and he has now left on holiday so cant give feedback, but I am pretty sure they are slight oversize tyres and he never had issues, even before he fitted Ironman suspension which resulted in some lift.

Hi
I tried fitting a set of 265/70/17 Hankooks on my 2012 Gen 4 Pajero. It touched quite a bit as I still have the standard suspension. I settled for the standard size instead 265/65/17.
