Hi all,

I don't do alot of open road, mostly town driving, i want to know if it is advisable to add a fuel treatment like redex to the tank to keep the engine and injectors clean and maby fuel economy a bit better?

I drive a '96 pajero 3,5 V6.

Thanks

Cant really comment on the petrol engines, but I use Wynns Diesel about three times a year. Supposedly does the same...

Hi there,

it is a common thing to add Injector Cleaner at least every 20.000 km or once a year. Official dealers should do it for you every big maintenance visit.
Of course it helps if you do a long (highway)trip every once and a while to heat up the engine in order to do a lot of auto-cleaning.
