Mitsu East Rand - credit where credit's due

I had my 150K service done in late October and only studied the invoice a couple of weeks later when comparing notes with KaiV - discovered then that Mitsu ER had no stock of air filters.

Phoned and spoke the service "advisor" 3 times over the following weeks, each time received a "I'll find out and call you back".

This week remembered that I had again not been phoned back so sent a mail to the service contact shown on the website - Joe Jones.

I got an immediate response followed a few hours later by the mobile tech installing my air filter at my house :)

So yes every right to be irritated by earlier bad service, but Joe restored a bit of faith by his decisive actions.

I still think Imperial is stuffing things up but let's hope it comes right.

Cheers
Tom

Hi Tom,

Can you please elaborate - which website?

Hi Roelf - it was the Mitsu East Rand site:
http://www.mitsubishi-eastrand.co.za/contact.html

I saw your fred about the dash - sounds great :)

How would we go about getting it done - would our local service manager (Joe Jones again!) know about this fix or was it purely your charm and guile that scored this fix ;)

Cheers
Tom

Hee hee... nope, my good looks.

My advice would be to sit down with Joe and have an open discussion with him - in the end is he the guy that has to make it work.

If he isn't fully informed about the finer aspects of the fix, ask him to phone a friend at Mitsu HQ to help him. I mean, you guys are in Gauteng and that is where "my" expert works.
