Shim for my Pajero valve

Hi,
We own a 2004 Pajero 3.2 DiD. Our mechanic just informed us this morning that he seemed to have lost one of our shims...it's a small round part that fits on top of the valve (almost looks like the battery of a watch). I've attached a photo for reference.
Can anybody help or advice on where I will be able to find a shim like this? I will be grateful. We were planning a trip to Namibia this Saturday and will have to cancel if we can't find this part.
