Spark plug suggestions and misfire....
Posted: Wed Dec 12, 2012 10:14 am
Hi all..
My plugs are NGK BK6e - are these the correct plugs? I'm getting issues that my motor is coking up a lot, and I'm thinking its because perhaps the spark plugs arent hot enough? Could this be the case?
Any other suggestions?
I change the plugs out, and the motor runs great... after a day or 2, I have a bad misfire. I rev the hell out of it for about 5 minutes, smokes a bit, and then it runs great again for a day or 2..... during the revving, lots of backfiring. And then it smooths out, no more backfiring....
Really driving me mad now.
Thanks all.
