Anyone familiar with what the procedure is to remove the headlight unit
Passenger headlight stopped working, so I bought a replacement lamp. While fitting it I managed to get the lamp inside the headlight unit
. For a while I could get a hold of it, but after fiddling about it ended up driopping into the headlight unit - now lying inside the headlight
Rather pissed off that I managed to do this,... but I think easiest will be to take the complete headlight out then remove the lamp.
Anyone familiar with what the procedure is to remove the headlight unit
Surely it can't be that difficult. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Have you tried a plastic coated coat hanger or a dowel with a dab of instant glue / putty on the end?
Otherwise page 40 of chapter 54A of workshop manual that you can download from the Resources menu on this site.
That shows that you need to remove grille and then there are two bolts on the side closest to the centre of the vehicle, the top bolt and one nut at the back of the assembly on the side furthest from the centre of the vehicle.
Remember of you touch the glass of the globe with your fingers you should clean it off with alcohol or thinners and let dry before installing.
