4x4 lights on dash
hi all just want to ask if somebody could help me with this i recently bought a 99" pajero 3.5 blister fender and on the dash you have your panel that shows you if you are in 4x4 and Diff locked. i would like to know when you are in 2wd does it idicate this with 2 lights as mine does not so i am thinking it could be blown bulds as even when i go to 4x4 they do not come on ??

if it turns out to be a bulb or 2 how much of a mission is this. thanks in advance

It should light all 4 when you go in 4x4. Could be blown bulbs. Have you tested it on gravel by turning sharp and moving forward to see if the front wheels are also engaged?

Not such a big issue to replace globes but think you can only get replacement from dealers.

Re: 4x4 lights on dash
I have a 98 3.5 and my rear wheel lights don't work. Its just a blown bulb. When I engage 4h the front wheels light up but the rear stay dead.

There have been a number of threads regarding the super select lights. If you browse the forum I'm sure there is a thread on how to take off the instrument cluster and change the bulbs. It may also be under the thread where guys installed LED bulbs behind the cluster

Re: 4x4 lights on dash
hi just some feedback on this topic lights started flashing and was having a problem engaging the diff lock so started to just mess around with the h/l lever and did this for about half an hour and got it working fine and better than before and since not had any more issues i would say that the switches were sticky and with the plaing around they freed up but a big thanks to everyone and the forum for the help Cheers
