Hi guys i am struggling to find out which pump is the correct one for the 96 model 2.8 tdi Pajero. I made the mistake to buy the bracket and pump from a scrap yard only to find out that it wont fit with the pipes i have currently on the Pajero. It might be that the pump i bought is from a Colt as they use the same motors(4M40). The only pump i could find that accommodate the pipes i have on the Pajero is this one from a Hilux.


Can someone please send a pic of how the pump with the pipes should look like. Thanks in advance.

Hi.

I can refer you to Carmatrix in Centurion who specialises in car air conditioning. They recently gave me excellent service when i had to replace my pump and flush my system. Google "Carmatrix Kloofsig" and chat to Deon. He also drives a Mitsubishi so he knows his stuff.

You might be able to swap the top plate (where the hoses mount)
with yours.

The problem is i dont have the old pump. I bought the Pajero without the pump. I will apreciate it if someone can send me a pic of how the original pump should look like. Then i can take it from there.

If you have not sorted your aircon pump problem yet give me a shout I will be able to take a pic tomorrow and post it here

Thanks Andre i am sorted now. I bought one from a scrap yard.
